Ukrainian Borscht
When I stayed in Kiev (Ukraine) my host had made me some borscht, which is a traditional beetroot soup. Normally I’m not a huge fan of beetroot, but this soup was absolutely delicious! We went to the train station in Thessaloniki to buy our tickets for Skopje. Naturally, we expectedContinue reading “Stumbling over Statues in Macedonia”

They live 50 minutes outside the city center in a large house. My host was Ági, the mother of theContinue reading “The Best of Buda and Pest (part 1)”
